Theresa M. "Terry" Carciobolo, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2018 with her loving family by her side after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Terry was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Polo and was a life long resident of Albany, N.Y.

Larger than life, an icon, role model, mentor, giver, healer, friend in time of need, the most selfless person, and willing to give all of herself to her family, friends and even a brief acquaintance. Heaven has truly gained an angel.

Terry was an award-winning photographer, as a member of the Professional Photographers Society of NY.

She owned and operated Louis Studio Photographers along with her husband Louis Sr. for over forty years. Her work as a wedding photographer was legendary, touching countless couples and families’ lives over the years. Thanks to Terry there are thousands of pictures in albums, on walls and treasured keepsakes handed down from generation to generation.

Terry was not only a master photographer, but a Jack- of- all trades and an adventurer extraordinaire!!! Manager of A&P meat department, a nurses’ aide, a motorcycle rider, a pilot, a mixologist and most importantly a best friend to everyone.

The Capital Region is full of “Louis Studio Brides”, who will never forget Terry’s professionalism, and dedication to each and every one of them. She left an impression that will last a lifetime.

She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dearest close friends.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband Louis Carciobolo Sr., her siblings, Angeline Hubbard and Ann Kent and her son-in-law James P. Gavin, Jr.

Theresa is survived by her children, Louis J. Carciobolo, Jr. and Margaret Ann Carciobolo, grandchildren; Nicole (Jim) Pardi, Jessica (Logan) Hoffis, Sarah Carciobolo, Quinten, Dylan, Alivia and Ethan Gavin, great-grandchildren: Giavanna and Colton Pardi, Graysen Hoffis, her brother, John Polo and long time friend John Robusto.
