Keith J. "KJ" Kinnicutt
1971 - 2018

Colonie-Keith J. Kinnicutt, 46, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 surrounded by his devoted family and friends. Keith is survived by his loving mother Carol Connolly and step-father Dave Filarecki, his beautiful daughter Samantha Kinnicutt, who was his most treasured pride and joy. Also survived by his partner in love and life, Robbyann Mahoney, and her beautiful daughter, Alysa.

Keith was employed for many years by The Town of Colonie Division of Pure Waters. He previously was a volunteer fireman for the Boght Fire Company for over a decade.
Keith was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hiking, kayaking, and camping. He also enjoyed riding snowmobiles, attending car races and his summer family vacations to Maine all with his beloved daughter, family and friends by his side.

Keith was a true and loyal friend and was blessed to have many strong friendships that spanned decades. The family would like to acknowledge Eric and Kathleen Clough, Tom and Judy Halloran, Pete and Amy Walsh and Sean McKown and Mandie Pace for their unwavering love and support throughout Keith’s courageous battle.

Those who knew Keith best will remember him as a man of immense courage, who despite the trials of his illness, always embraced optimism, a non-complaining nature, who never lost his contagious sense of humor. Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed.

Keith is also survived by his father, Larry Kinnicutt, sister, Vikki, his loving aunt Joyce Beauregard and several cousins. He was predeceased by his step father Ronald Connolly and his uncle Jack Kinnicutt (Sandy).

The family would like to send a special thank you to St. Peters Dr. Ronnie Luyun and his wonderful caring staff as well as the Doctors and nurses at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. They would also like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff at St. Peter’s ICU for their kindness and support given to Keith and his family.
