Cohoes- Albert J. Diotte, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born and educated in Cohoes he was the son of the late Albert and Anna Kennedy Diotte.

Albert was a TV repair man and a talented lead singer and guitarist of the band “Magnatones”

Albert is survived by his children; Albert (Louise) of Modesta, California, Gerald (Carol) of Latham, Ralph of Cohoes, James (Josephine) of Lexington, Kentucky, Michael of Troy, Michelle (Bill) of Troy, Jeffrey of New York, Joseph (Maria) of Rexford, Richard (Colleen) of Stillwater, William of Cohoes, Charles (Artena) of Watervliet, Tracy (Shane) of Altamont, Daniel of Cohoes and Cheryl (Derek) of Cohoes.
Albert is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Albert is predeceased by his daughter, Terrie Ann and his siblings, John Diotte. Charles Diotte, Margaret Stevenson and Marjorie LeClair.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 4:00pm- 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 9:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.
