Poestenkill Donna Myrtle Dyer, 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary Little. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 37 years Frank Kadara Dyer.

Donna worked as a teacher’s aide for St Jude’s in Wynantskill for two years and decided to open an art studio named “Love to Paint" in Wynantskill where she taught painting lessons.

She was an active member of the Baptist Church in Grafton, New York. She loved being active outdoors especially; gardening, birdwatching, sailing, site seeing, going on long drives and traveling to Maine and Vermont. She also enjoyed painting and teaching art classes, looking for antiques and visiting with friends. Above all Donna cherished spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her children; Frank (Alana) Dyer, Renee (Kevin) Mack, Daniel (Debbie) Dyer and Russell (Cherlyn) Dyer. She is also survived by her grandchildren Frank, Dustin and Victoria Dyer, Courtney Napolitano and Britney Mack, Daniel, Eric and Sarah Dyer, Jarrett Dyer,and great grandchildren Frank & Dominic Dyer, Isaac Dyer, and Emma Napolitano.Donna also leaves behind her siblings Sandra Doty, Thomas Little, Richard Little, Karen Duffy, Russell Little, Brenda Iwaneczko, Vanessa Gleason, Serena Hamel and their spouses.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10:00am at Grafton Baptist Church, Owens Rd, Cropseyville, NY 12052.
