In Memory Of
Georgiana C. "Georgie" Gallucci
1944 - 2018
Georgiana was married to Louis Anthony Gallucci, dating back to July 24, 1965. After 50 plus years of marriage, they also were together during high school leading up to their marriage. Georgie worked for decades as a volunteer for the American Red Cross and became a certified safety instructor. Georgie also enjoyed her part-time work, especially during the holidays, at a local pie and bakery establishment and with the Girl Scouts.
Georgie was an active member of several Catholic Church communities in upstate NY and Florida. Georgie enjoyed the time with her family, friends and especially her husband, Lou. Georgie could be found on several golf courses- any women's day her with her friends or with Lou (she was the putter of the team)!
Georgie was survived by her husband, Lou; her three children: Laura Fasano (husband Patrick), Vincent Gallucci (significant other Amy Sturm) and Paul Gallucci (wife Abigail Gallucci) and her wonderful grandchildren: Madeline Fasano, Gianna Gallucci, Rachel Gallucci, Marina Fasano and Joseph Gallucci. Georgie was also survived by three siblings: William Sehl (wife Madeline Sehl), Barbara Cavalieri (deceased husband Joseph) and Margaret Schlueter (husband Roger Schlueter).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY 12110. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels, Colonie.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Red Cross. If you wish, flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
