TROY - Angela M. DeThomas, 86, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Samaritan Hospital.

Angela was born on June 8, 1931 in Troy and was the daughter of the late Gene and Catherine (Santora) DeThomas. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy and the Albany College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology. She was employed by Standard Oil Medical Division at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in NYC, the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD and Samaritan Hospital Laboratory in Troy, where she retired from.

In additional to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Rose Langston and Irene Enright. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
