SLINGERLANDS-Marilyn Wojeski, 84, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017.

She was born on November 7, 1933 daughter of the late Harry Lee and Jeanette (Mahon) Ahl. She was born in West Albany. She worked for many years at Tobin Packing and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband Joe are members of Christ The King Church in Guilderland. Marilyn was a talented gardener. She created many beautiful gardens as a home for her birds that she enjoyed watching. She also loved animals. She will be dearly missed by all those who love her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph J. Wojeski; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Marie and Andrew Cloherty; grandchildren, Katherine Rose and Lauren Elizabeth; siblings, Bernice (William) Hubbard, Joyce McCampbell, Dianne (Olin) Slater; sisters-in-law, Margaret Wojeski, Sally Wojeski and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marilyn is predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Edward Wojeski and Stanley Wojeski.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:00am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 4:00-7:00pm. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 4:30 p.m. for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
