Larry was born on August 17, 1923, to the late Samuel and Philomena Monarch, in Schenectady, NY. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and joined the Air Force to serve in WWII. After the war Larry continued his education to become an attorney, where he worked as a partner in a NYC law firm. After his retirement he traveled extensively throughout the United States, finally settling in Florida.
Larry is predeceased by siblings; Anthony Monarch, Elizabeth Garufy, Joan Campchero, Charles Monarch, and Helen Doin.
He is survived by his brother, Francesco Monarchio, Larry also leaves several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close friends. He was a happy, gentle man with a infectious personality and we miss miss him and his smile greatly.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, on Wednesday , from 10:00am-12:00pm, with a funeral service to immediately follow.
