Victoria E. Lasher, 87, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2015 at the Eddy Village Green Nursing Home, Cohoes.

She was born on August 12, 1927, in Cementon, NY to the late Louis and Frances (Bradasic) Evko.

She worked as a teller for the Albany Savings Bank for several years, before she married Robert and become a mother.

Victoria was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed every aspect of being a Mom. She loved to garden and would grow beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and animals through the seasons.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Lasher; her son, Alan F. Lasher; her two sisters, Mary McLaughlin and Violett DeSantis and her granddaughter Sonja Lasher.

Victoria is survived by her loving children; Susan M. (Larry Johnson) Lasher and David R. Lasher. She is the cherished grandmother of Curtis (Amy) Lasher. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 6:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 pm. to 6:00 pm. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
