CLIFTON PARK-January 26, 2015: Lorana Livingston died peacefully at Albany Medical Center. She was born 1928 in DeKalb Jct, NY, daughter of Raymond & Marion (Law) Rice. She graduated from Russell Sage College with masters from both SUNY Albany & College of St Rose and retired from teaching at Wells Central School in 1994.
She was married to Robert Livingston for 41 years and to William Fisher for 18 years.
Lorana is survived by her children Dean (Laura) Livingston, Gary (Kathryn) Livingston, Kay (Bernard) Klem and daughter-in-law, Patricia Livingston. She is also survived by her step children Ronald Fisher, Susan (Uldis) Vitolins, Kenneth (Evelyn) Fisher, 8 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by both husbands and her brother Max Rice.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, noon at Jonesville UMC followed by a celebration of life at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the D5E Nurses Education Fund (for the Bereavement Committee) at Albany Medical Center, 43 New Scotland Ave, Mail Code 73, Albany, NY 12208 attn: Lisa Schryver, Nurse Manager or to the Jonesville UMC (for the Memorial Fund) at 963 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
