Aida was born in Mambajao, Philippines to the late Leon and Guadalupe Balite.
She enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, cooking and shopping.
In addition to her parents, Aida was predeceased by her husband, Diosdado Gonzales.
Aida is survived by her sons Robert Gonzales and his husband, Tod Orblych; and Michael Gonzales. She is also survived by her grandsons, Jonathan and Samuel Gonzales and their mother, Charmaigne Cudal; and her dear canine companion Tucker.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 9:30 am at St. Pius X, 23 Crumitie Rd., Loudonville. Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
