Calvin Ketter, 63, passed away on November 18, 2014 at Community Hospice of Albany County, with his family by his side.

Calvin was born October 19, 1951, the son of the late Curley and Mamie Lee (Perrin) Ketter.

Calvin proudly served with the United States Marine Corp.

In addition to his parents, Calvin was predeceased by his sister, Della (Ketter) Hollingsworth and his daughter Sonya Carter.

Calvin is survived by his loving wife of over 24 years, Mary Anne (Turner) Ketter. He is the cherished father of Joseph Carter, Anna Diaz, Curtis Jerome Haynes, Calvin (Carman) Carter, Michaeline Carter, Jermaine Goodman, LaMont Green, Harry Goodman, Michael Jones, Shamel Turner, Rahzjamieke "Popaz" and Rhondasia "Dayday". He is also survived by two sisters, Rosetta Williams, Evelyn Martin and three brothers, Kenneth, William and George Ketter and several grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the entire staff with Community Hospice of Albany County at St. Peters for all of the care and compassion given to Calvin.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
