Giavanna "Gia" Chaires
Scotia – Giavanna Diana Chaires, 14, entered into eternal rest on October 26, 2014. Although she never spoke a word, her infectious laugh spoke volumes of her spirit and love for life. We are thankful for the memories that Gia has left us and she will forever remain in our hearts.
Gia is survived by her loving parents, Rebecca and Michael Chaires Sr.; her brothers Tyrone and Michael Chaires; her sisters JaQuasia, Izonna and Maaliyah Chaires and Madrea Lewis. She was predeceased by her brother Micah. She also leaves to cherish her exceptional caregiver and aunt, Currisa Taylor, her caring doctor, Anthony Malone and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Gia on Saturday November 1st at 10 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you do a selfless act of kindness for someone in memory of Gia.
