Schenectady – Rose Mary Pacelli, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 23, 2014 at Ellis Nursing & Rehab surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady she is the daughter of the late Anthony and Julia Sacchetti.
Rose worked for many years at Union College before her retirement in 1983. She will be missed dearly by her family and always remembered for her love of singing and dancing.
Rose is survived by her beloved daughters, Jeanette (Paul) Chandler and Doreen ( David) Marks; her cherished grandchildren Lisa Ricci, Joshua (Brittany) Ricci, Christopher Marks and Lauren (John) Grygiel; and her great-grandson Johnny.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Herman A. Pacelli in 1997 and her brother Augie Sacchetti.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all of the nurses and staff who cared for Rose at Ellis Nursing and Rehab’s Edison Wing and Schenectady County Hospice.
A graveside service will be held for Rose on Tuesday October 28th at 11:45 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery, Brandywine Ave. Schenectady.
