The sun rose on Janine McFadden on August 10,1978 born to the late Gladys Durham and Janoise Smith in Bronx, N.Y. Janine was the youngest of 7 children.

Janine, affectionately known as "Nene" relocated with her family to Albany N.Y in 1988. She was a dedicated mother, sister and friend. Nene was a member of the Metropolitan New Testament Mission Baptist Church where she grew in her relationship with God. She was a woman of great faith, she made a positive impact in everyone's life she came across.

Janine will reunite with her parents and two brothers: Charles and Jeffrey McFadden. She leaves to celebrate her life: four children whom she loved and adored; Janyah Herbert, Jayden Dukes, Jashai Dukes and Jayla Dukes. Her siblings: Cynthia Gonzalez(Hector), Gary McFadden (Karen), William McFadden (Sandra), Christopher McFadden,Virginia Stephanie smith-Richardson, Donna Jean Smith, and Candice Love Ferguson. Nene also leaves behind her God children: Denaja and Isaiah, a host of loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.

To know Nene is to know Love, strength and bravery. Nene we love you and you will forever be in our hearts.
