Mary was born in Albany, to the late Jessica Krzykowski Newman and Francis J. Newman.
She was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth Bacon and Geraldine Campione, and her brothers Joseph Jasiewicz and John Jasiewicz.
Mary is survived by her husband, Miguel Rodriguez, her loving daughters, Magdalena (Jonathan) Moffre, Mary (William) Padilla, and Margarita (John Bassett) Rodriguez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Diego, Damian, Mariana, Manny, Jonathan Jr., Alina, Cameron and Jocelyn; her sisters, Connie Unser, Marlene Poulopoulos, Eleanor DeJesus, Karen DeJesus and brother Francis Newman and many nieces and nephews. She had a special place in her heart for her nephew Christopher Hulett and her Goddaughter Jina Torres.
Mary was the most loving and caring woman you could ever meet. She had a heart of gold. She loved her family more than anything and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was known by many as "Aunt Mary" and she will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be Monday, October 27, 2014 at 12:30 pm at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:30 at the funeral home.Interment will follow the service in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
