DELMAR- Jack Klomm, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at St. Peters Hospital with his family by his side.

Jack was born on October 20, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank and Christina Klomm. Jack served his country honorably in the United States Navy. In 1957 Jack relocated to Kingston, NY where he served as the rector of New Apostolic Church until his retirement due to health issues. He was employed as a driver for Charles River Breeding Labs for many years. Jacks passions in life also included his family, fishing, the Yankees, and his beloved dog, Mandy. Jack will be remembered for his optimism, and his positive attitude.

Jack is predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy Klomm, and his sister, Trudy Eger.

He is survived by his children; Janet (Bob) Gavaletz, Jack R. Klomm and his fiancé, Kimmie Serrano, his grandchildren; Missy Corbett, and Stacie Hurwitch, his great grandsons; Jonah, Colden, and Simon, his siblings; Marion Orlando, and Freddie Klomm, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Apostolic Church, 2389 Curry Road, Schenectady, NY, on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 11:00am-1:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will take place at Saratoga National Cemetery privately at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home for all their care and compassion.
