Michael John Wesolowski
August 19, 1946 – November 21, 2015

AMSTERDAM – Michael John Wesolowski, 69, passed from this life and arose into eternal life on November 21, 2015, with his loving wife by his side.

Born on August 19, 1946 in Buffalo, NY to the late Stanley Frank and Cecilia Theresa (Krakowiak) Wesolowski, Michael was a loving and dedicated family man. He is survived by his wife of 16 yeas TeNeathia (Herring) and two sisters Anne Caimano (late James) of Lady Lake, FL and Mary Bernacki (late Paul) of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by his father in-law Johnnie Herring of Garland, NC, mother in-law Zellee Hubbard-Franklin (Marcus) of Newburgh, NY, grandfather in-law Pastor Herman Hubbard (Elsa) of Newburgh, NY with whom Michael had a very special relationship, and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

A Vietnam-era Veteran who served his county with the United States Army, Michael graduated from Saint Francis High School and studied criminal Justice at the State University of New York’s College at Buffalo. He was passionate about cooking, faith, finance, law and politics.

Michael was a member of Redeemer Church in Albany, NY, and a former member of New Creation Fellowship in Buffalo, NY. He was a faithful follower of Christ committed to helping and serving others. He served with and supported many charitable organizations, most recently as a volunteer with Compassion Coalition, Inc. in Utica.

He will be remembered for his compassion, laughter and generosity, as a devoted fan of the Buffalo Bills, and as a selflessly devoted husband who loved spending quiet evenings at home listening to music and dancing with his beloved wife for no special reason at all.

Visitation will be at Redeemer Church, 183 Schoolhouse Road, Albany, NY on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. Following funeral services, Michael will be laid to rest with Military Funeral Honors in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY. A light repast will be held at Redeemer Church following interment.
