John “Jack” L. Deitz, 82, passed away on March 25, 2015 at the Stratton VA Medical Center with his family by his side.

Jack was born July 16, 1932, in Albany, NY, the son of the late John and Wilhelmina Deitz.

Jack proudly served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He was the owner of Jack's Pizza in Albany for 35 years.

He loved making people laugh, animals, his Yankees and Giants, and yelling at politicians.

Jack is survived by his loving wife; Deborah Cote; his children Summer (Christopher) Wilber and John D. Deitz. He is the brother of Carol Batchelder, Janice (Larry) Dedrick and Cathy (Steve) Hawley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service and Inurnment will be held at 11am on May 13, 2015 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
