Albany- Arlene Spadaro, 85, went into the arms of our Lord peacefully at home on July 6, 2018.

Born on May 20, 1933. She was preceded in death by parents, Edmund and Isabelle Bohl Henzel and son, Carmen Spadaro. Arlene retired from the NYS Dept. of Education after 28 years of service in 1991.

Arlene had a great passion for family, the Adirondacks and music. She was a member of the Capital Hill Choral Society. She was a selfless woman who cared deeply for her family. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother & great-grandmother.

Arlene is survived by her beloved family, children, Suzan Spadaro and Edmund Spadaro; grandchildren, Antonio Torres, Keisha Baker and Mina Spadaro; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Torres and another great-granddaughter on the way; sister, Jean Cannon and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Darin, Debbie and Penny with Community Hospice for their wonderfully caring service throughout mom's journey.

A graveside service for Arlene will be held privately at the convenience of the family. However, the family would love it if you would leave a special message for the family.
