TROY- Dorothy R. Satterlee, 84, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family.
Dorothy was born in Eagle Mills, NY on August 21, 1933 to the late Emil and Alice Riegert. She is a 1952 graduate of Troy High School, and after graduation she went on to work as a secretary at RPI, and modeled professionally for many years. She retired as a legal secretary from Block and Colucci in Latham, NY. Dorothy’s passion in life was her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her love of animals.
Dorothy is predeceased by brother, Jon T. Riegert.
She is survived by her beloved children, Terri A. (Fred Glover) Satterlee, W. Bryan (Eileen) Satterlee, and Jansen R. Satterlee, her grandson, Duncan Satterlee, her special friend, Renee Casavant, and her three kitties, Violet, Simon, and Isabella.
A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
