Dennis Jon Vincent of Schenectady, passed away on Friday May 4, 2018 at his home with his devoted wide, Nina of 16 1/2 years, by his side. The couple met in June 2001, and were married November 19, 2002.

Father of Christina Ann Vincent, Mellissia Sue Vincent, Carol Perrine, and Marsha Oakland. Grandfather of Michael Szesnat III, Nicholas Perrine, and Jacob Olbrych. Brother of Kenneth Vincent, Robert Vincent, and step-brother Alan Britain. Survived by numerous cousins, uncles, and other family relatives.

Dennis was born January 1, 1950 to the late George and Doris (Anson) Vincent. After having been raised in Colonie and graduating from Colonie High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in August 1969. Upon returing from the USAF in September 1989, he once again returned to the Capital District. Dennis volunteered for many years between the Midway and Colonie Fire Department. He was an avid New York Yankees (Derek Jeter) fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved to cook. He loved animals; leaving behind his faithful cat "Boo". He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Niagara Falls, Denver CO, and Myrtle Beach SC. Dennis always dreamed of going to Australia.

He was predeceased by both his parents, George Vincent and Doris (Anson) Vincent; and his brother Kenneth Vincent.

A private viewing with close friends and family was held on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY, 12189.

Dennis' military service flag and cremated remains were presented to his wife, Nina.
