ALBANY - Lorraine L. Anyos, 78, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.

Lorraine was born on January 15, 1940 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Peter H. and Mary (Baron) Tice. She worked at Villa Mary Immaculate Mary Nursing Home in Albany in housekeeping for 22 years, before retiring. She enjoyed puzzles, going to Grafton State Park and the farmers market at The Plaza, trips to Guptill's for ice cream and spending time with her family.

Lorraine is survived by her loving daughters, Joanne Anyos and Jacqueline Anyos; her cherished grandchildren, Damon Anyos and Rickeya Miller and Chrystal and Clint Anyos; two great granddaughters, Jonelle Warley and Kylie Merrill; her sisters, Carol O'Connor and Barbara (Walter) Hoffman; several nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Herbert Tinkham and Dorothy Hennerty and many others. She was predeceased by her children, Stephen Anyos and Jill Mary Adkins and siblings, Arthur, Edith and Edward Tice.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sharita Nagaraj and the staff on the Maculey unit at St. Peter's Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 28th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 900 Madison Avenue, Albany. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 900 Madison Avenue, Albany, NY 12208 or to Community Hospice, Gift Processing Center, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Lorraine.
