The Sun rose August 12, 1944 and the Sunset April 17, 2018 for the Lord saw fix to dispatch his heavenly Angels to Troy, NY to escort our beloved Constance A. Dabbs 73 to her final resting place. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Constance was born in Chester, PA to the late Doris Mae Ricketts and Lawrence Perkins. Constance was educated in the Chester, PA School District where she received her High School Diploma. Constance later relocated to the Capital District Area where she lived until the time of her departure. Constance worked her whole life raising her children whom she loved with all her HEART. Some of the varies jobs she held were NY Bell Telephone Company, Albany County Nursing Home, Fleet Bank, Norstar Bank, MC Auto, Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Pitney Bowes being her favorite job that she work at for many years. Constance was a hard worker, devoted mother and a loving grandmother, she had many nicknames Connie, Ann and Gram. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Some of her favorite things to do were: Traveling, watching all kinds of sports and she loved spending time with her family at family gatherings. Oh how she would enjoy the nice weather and family barbecues.She enjoyed Playing cards while sipping on her Mr. Boston Vodka or Budweiser Beer. Gram even found a best friend in her grandson Malachi who had her back no matter what.

She leaves a legacy of laughter and love to all who knew her

She is survived by her beloved children: Sebron Fleming of Wilmington, Deleware, Shawn Fleming of Claymont, Delaware, Ahmad Fleming of Media, PA, Wanda Turner and Katina Turner both of Albany, NY and Walter Turner Jr. of Atlanta, GA. 3 sisters Sharita Perkins, Katrina Woodhouse and Diane Putman Marshall, 2 brothers Donald Perkins and Michael Putman. 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Constance is predeceased by her brothers Israel and Gilford Putman and Dennis Perkins. One sister Andrea Hilliard, grandson Keynon Hankins, granddaughter Markita Fleming and one great-granddaughter Mai' Everi Moses.

A Celebration Service of Constance life will be held on Tuesday April 24,2018, calling hours 9-11am with service starting at 11am. The Calling Hour and Service will be held at Grace and Mercy COGIC 1401 State St. Schenectady, NY 12304. Officiate: Reverend Kimberly C. Hall Pastor of The Lord's House of Deliverance Baptist Church. Interment following service in Graceland Cemetery. 680 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY. Professional Services Entrusted: New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
