He was the son of the late John and Marion Ryan and the brother of the late Bonnie Ryan-Mott.
He was formerly employed at St. Mary’s Hospital and Albany Medical Center in their Maintenance Departments. Gary was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and an avid lover of dogs.
Gary is survived by his sister, Cheryl Liburdi and his brother, Michael K. (Lucianne) Ryan. He is also survived by two nieces, four nephews, four grandnieces and many cousins.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Sister Mavis Jewell Medical Respite c/o of St. Mary’s Hospital, 1300 Massachusetts Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.
The family would like to thank the respite staff for their care and compassion during Gary’s stay.
