Patricia E. (Haley) Peabody, 64, of Ballston Lake, passed away suddenly on April 10th, 2018.


Patricia was born in Albany on January 30th, 1954, daughter of the late William and Corinne Haley. Growing up in Loudonville, NY, Pat was the oldest of three children. Her favorite past times included making memories with her siblings & cousins, music, and traveling. Pat attended Shaker High School, spent her young adulthood chasing her dreams, and marrying the love of her life. Patricia went on to own and operate a carpeting business for almost 20 years.


Patricia is survived by her son, Justin, whom she was a proud and doting single mother to. She is survived by her daughter in Seattle, WA, Beth Salave’a (Sam) and grandson, Orion. Her siblings whom she loved to visit in Virginia Beach, VA: sister Elaine Thomas (Bill) and Bill Haley III (Joyce). Patricia was an amazing and always caring aunt to her dear niece Allison Thomas(Morgan) and baby great niece, Adelaide of Albany, NY and nephew Michael Thomas & great nephew, Carson of Virginia Beach, VA.


She was predeceased by her dear husband, Garrett M. Peabody. She was the adored sister-in-law to her husband’s siblings: Richard, Neil, Drew, Mary Fran, and Nora. Along with several nieces and nephews on the Peabody side.


Patricia was a long time member of the Fruitful Vine Christian Church. As a very active member in the church; Pat was the host of the Youth Group nights and was a key part of the Women’s Bible Group. Pat put motherhood as her first priority always being there for Justin. Affectionately known as “Mama Pat”, she was truly a great listener and friend to all of those around her. Her church family were some of the people she held nearest to her heart. Patricia has found eternal peace and is returning home to be with the Lord and be reunited with her dear husband, Garry.


Services will be as followed: Wake on Tuesday April, 17th from 4 to 7pm at the New Comer Funeral Home on 181 Troy Schenectady Road Watervliet, NY 12189. Memorial Services on Wednesday April, 18th at 10am at the Fruitful Vine Christian Church on 9 Burning Bush Road Ballston Lake, NY 10219. Burial will follow and take place at St. Agnes Cemetery on 48 Cemetery Ave Menands, NY 12204.

A luncheon will be held in the afternoon at the Fruitful Vine Christian Church in Ballston Lake, NY.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia’s honor to the Fruitful Vine Christian Church, 9 Burning Bush Road, Ballston Lake, NY 12019.
