In Memory Of
Patricia J. Golas
1938 - 2018

Cohoes- Patricia J. Golas, 79, passed away peacefully, at home after a brief illness on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Born in Hudson, NY, Patricia was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Thomas and the dear wife of the late Joseph M. Golas.

A graduate of the Samaritan School of Nursing, Patricia enjoyed a 36 year career working in Samaritan's maternity ward. During her four decades selling Avon, Pat met and maintained friendships with many wonderful people, and enjoyed trips to New Orleans, the Bahamas, Acapulco, and several trips to her favorite, Hawaii. She also looked forward to her trips to Ogunquit, ME with family. Though Pat loved to travel, she was equally happy enjoying a cup of coffee on her deck while working a crossword puzzle, feeding her birds, or visiting with friends.

Patricia is survived by her three children Joseph (Kimberly) Golas of Troy, Lisa (David) Warmbrodt of Groton, NY, and Sharon (Jeffrey) Smith of Cohoes. She is also survived by her beloved grand and great-grand children, as well as a brother, Robert Thomas of Claverack.

In lieu of flowers kindly consider a gift to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, or your local animal shelter.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189. A memorial service will follow starting at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
