Albany- Rosalind "Roz" Weatherholtz, 77, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

Rosalind was the daughter of the late Peter Lonn and Anne Breslow. Rosalind was the devoted wife to the late Glen R. Weatherholtz. She is predeceased by her brother Jerry Lonn.

Rosalind is survived by her daughters, Debra (Jack) Crowder, Beth Weatherholtz, and Carrie Deters; grandchildren, Misty (Scott), Cody (Crystal), Crystal (Mark), Tys and Aspen; great grandchildren, Isabella, Denise, Freya and Austin; brother, Robert (Lorainne) Lonn; best friends Val and Joan Salustri.

Roz was a long time resident of Albany where she and her late husband Glen raised their family. She lived in their family home for 50 years where she continued establishing fond memories with everyone she loved. Roz worked as a Police Matron for 25 years and loved to compete with Glen to see who could get more overtime. She was an awesome cook, loved playing cards, enjoyed lunches out with the girls and looked forward to going to the Racino in Saratoga where she was hoping to win it big one day. She also was an avid sports fan where she always showed great enthusiasm in watching the pro baseball and football games. Mom, Nanny, Friend, you were loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York on Wednesday February 28, 2018 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Her funeral service will follow at 12:30pm. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, New York.
