Sandra R. Johnston
Johnson City, NY-----Sandra Ruth Johnston, 70, passed away on January 11, 2018 at Susquehanna Nursing & Rehab Center in Johnson City, NY. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Earl Henry Johnston.
She had a passion for riding horses, her motorcycle and playing sports. She loved watching Mets/Giants games and John Wayne movies. She loved listening to country music and Elvis. Most importantly, Sandy loved her family, NOTHING meant more to her. Regardless of how badly she was feeling, when her family arrived she was all smiles. Her sense of humor and love for life brightened our darkest days. She was a beautiful woman inside and out, her laughter was contagious and would light up the room.
Sandra is survived by her five children: Earl Johnston Jr., William (Jessica) Johnston, Tammy (Joshua) Patton, Kimberly Bancroft and Travis (Rachel) Johnston; four step children: Barbara Sellick, James (Janice) Johnston, Irene (John) Pendleton, Wesley (Leslie) Johnston. She is also survived by four sisters, one brother, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Susquehanna Nursing for their love and care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Monday January 15, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189.
