In Memory Of
Lisa Mary Hansen
1955 - 2018

Lisa was born on May 7, 1955 to Frederick C. and Lucille C (Belleau) Hansen. She is per-deceased by both her parents and also two brothers, Mark C Hansen and Matthew J Hansen.

She leaves, with many loving memories, her brothers, Michael F. Hansen and David J. Hansen both of West Warwick, Rhode Island; her two sisters, Jeanne Hansen-Tevyaw of Florida, MA and Mary Enos of Yarmouthport, MA; and her nephews Alan M. Hansen & John F. Enos.

She was an active member of the United States Air Force from 1974-1978 and is an honored veteran.

Her education, military experience, and employment allowed her to travel extensively through the United States and many countries. Traveling, golf and fine dining were three of her favorite things. However her true passion was in support of those suffering from cancer...ovarian specifically. She was a member and President of the Caring Together Cancer Research group of Albany, NY, she spoke in front of Congress of the need for research and funding on many occasions, and advocated for those with this disease by speaking to nursing students, at hospitals, and to those in treatment like herself.
She fought this disease for 14 years with grace, passion, and a never-ending spirit for those who could nod advocate for themselves.

She will be missed by so many and wanted everyone to know how much she appreciated and loved each and every one. From her “Thank You”. From our family also “Thank you”.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
