Knox- Melva G. Williman, 84, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2017.

Born on August 16, 1933 in Schenectady; a daughter of the late Sydney and Beatrice Brenneman.

After staying at home to raise her children, Melva went to work at Villa Mary Immaculate Nursing Home for ten years. She was an avid quilter and loved art & crafts, which she helped residents at the nursing home participate in. Melva was a member of the Eastern Star in Altamont.

Melva was the beloved wife of Raymond E. Williman; it was a loving union of 59 years until his passing in 2014. She was the devoted mother of Howard Williman, Raymond Williman, Roger Green, Susan Farrell and the late Timothy Williman and Charles Williman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Melva will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Melva will be buried next to her husband, Raymond, at Thompson Lake.
