Clement R. DiAmbrosio, 89, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Ellis Hospital.
Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Joseph and Raffaela D'Ambrosio.
Clement was a resident of Rotterdam all his life, and was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He was a self-employed electrician and worked for Sunny View Nursing & Rehab Hospital for 16 years.
Clement was the devoted husband to the late Mary DiAmbrosio (Rispoli) for 47 years, and was the loving father to his daughters; Raffaele Hayden of Rotterdam, Rose (Gary) Ross of Las Vegas, NV, and Lucille (Alan) Lawrence of Rotterdam. Grandfather of Shane (Amanda) Hayden of Hyde Park and the late Janene LaRusso formerly of Rotterdam. Great Grandfather to Shane and Jackson Hayden. Brother of; the late John D'Ambrosio, Sr., Edward D'Ambrosio, Constance D'Ambrosio, Josephine D'Ambrosio, Yolanda James, Mary Messere, Elvira Bottisti, Jean Pumpilio, Rose Caiazza and his living twin sister Amelia Dejnoka of Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held from New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 12 p.m, where prayers will be offered. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Schenectady Memorial Park, Rotterdam.
