SCOTIA- Aileen E. Reinhart, 87, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Aileen was born in Lodi, PA to the late Leroy and Agnes Thompson on July 29, 1930. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Reinhart for over 50 years. Together they raised two daughters. Aileen was a woman of many gifted talents. She was a parishioner of First Reformed Church of Scotia for over 15 years.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas F. Reinhart, and her brother, Carl Thompson.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Doug) Davis, and Jennifer (John) Tremblay, and her grandchildren, Courtney (Justin), Kristofer (Tiffany), and Doug (Elizabeth), her four great-grandchildren with a fifth great-granddaughter on the way.

A service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank Betty Lauer, Linda Lewis, Elizabeth Stevens, and Richard Reynolds for their friendship. Special thanks to Dr. Syed and the ICU staff at Ellis Hospital for their compassionate care.

Donations may be made in Aileen’s name to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St, Springfield, MA 01104, or to the Animal Protective Foundation of Scotia, 53 Maple Ave, Scotia, NY 12302.
