Gilboa- William T. "Tom" Cline , 69, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
Tom was born on December 10, 1947. He was a son of the late Charles R. and Anna S. McKenna Cline. Tom attended local school, then went to become an EMT for the Albany area before getting his Certified Electrician license; which he worked as for many years until his retirement. In his younger years, Tom enjoyed being a member of the Boy Scouts, Troop 13 out of Albany, where he was able to become a Scouts Master. Tom loved nature and being outdoors, often times he would go camping at Lake Champlain, ride his motorcycle and he loved to bird watch and feed the hummingbirds. At night, Tom would spend time looking at the stars with his telescope, studying astrology.
Tom is survived by his Sister, Peggy A. Truax (Frank) of Schenectady; nieces and nephews, Katrina, Eric, Kenji and Naomi, along with several great nieces and nephews. Close friends, The Oliver family of Potter Hollow also survive. Tom was predeceased by his brother, Charles R. Cline, Jr.
A memorial service for Tom will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, 12205.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4 Atrium Drive, Suite 100, Albany, NY, 12205.
