ALBANY- Charles S. "Montana" Charlie Beach, 75, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Charlie was born in Berne, NY on September 10, 1941 to the late William and Helen Beach. From 1960-1967 Charlie served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. In 1962 he married the love of his life, Irene. They were married for 55 years. Charlie was a Sprinkler fitter for over 20 years, and he owned his own company Beco Sprinklers until his retirement. Charlie will be remembered for his love of motorcycles, especially Harleys. He lived to ride and shared his love of riding with his “Leatherneck” buddies, and he will be greatly missed.

Charlie is predeceased by his son, Scott Beach, his son-in-law, Mike Melius Jr., and his in-laws, Anthony and Catherine Miecznikowski.

He is survived by his loving wife, Irene, his children, Denise (Steve) Connolly, and Shelly Melius, his five grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, Katie, Sean, and Trevor, his siblings, Gordon Beach, and Pauline Moore, his daughter-in-law, Karen Beach, and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Polish American Citizens Club, 110 Commerce Ave, Albany, NY 12206, on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
