COHOES - Mary Jane (Burns) Romeo, 84, died on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Samaritan Hospital. Born July 17, 1933 in Albany and was the daughter of the late John C. and Adeline M. (Wagner) Burns.
Mary Jane was a 1951 graduate of Vincentian Institute and was a state employee until retiring to Florida in 1980 with her late husband, John L. Romeo, Sr. who died in 1982. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Robert and Paul Burns. She is survived her son, John, her grandchildren, Sarah (Chris Bosshart) and Sean Romeo and her brother, John Burns.
Heartfelt thanks to Ginnie McLean for her loving care and friendship during Mary Jane's illness.
