GLENS FALLS – Joseph Edgar LaFrance, 65, passed away suddenly on June 15, 2017 at his home in Glens Falls with his beloved wife by his side.
Joe was born in Glens Falls, NY to Robert and Carmel LaFrance. He grew up in Whitehall, NY and graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy in 1974. On November 8, 1975 Joe married his soul mate, Nancy. Together they were blessed with twin sons Adam and Andrew. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend whose sense of humor and stories will be greatly missed.
Joe is predeceased by his father, Robert LaFrance, his in-laws, Edward and Mary Larson, and a special niece, Jennifer Zabinski.
Joe is survived by his wife, Nancy, his sons, Adam (Rosselle Resurreccion) LaFrance, and Andrew (Kristin) LaFrance, his mother, Carmel LaFrance, his siblings, Wayne (Deb) LaFrance, Rick (Lisa) LaFrance, and Jean (Mickey Loso) Ward, and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to AK and Deb Hayes, and Tom and Evie Donahue for their support.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM, with a funeral service to immediately follow. The burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie, NY.
