Jerry was born in Albany, NY on May 11, 1956 to Gerry and Ellen Singley. Jerry worked many different jobs in his lifetime. He worked as a supervisor at Transworld Records and OneWay Records, and he worked in many different food service companies, most recently at The Orchard Tavern as a Bartender. Jerry will be remembered for his love of fishing, camping, and music. He was lifetime fan The Grateful Dead. He always said “all dead-heads welcome!” Jerry was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
Jerry is predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Isabelle Mosley, and Howard and Estelle Singley, his infant brother, John, and by his sister-in-law, Linda Singley.
He is survived by his loving parents, Gerry and Ellen Singley, his brothers, Howard, David, Brian(Christine), and Wayne (Jody), his nephew, Stephen Singley, and his three nieces, Stephanie, Allison, and Isabelle Singley. Jerry also leaves behind his two beloved cats, Mystic, and Tiger.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4:00pm-7:00pm with a service to immediately follow.
