Marilyn was born to the late John and Harriet Heilig in Brooklyn, NY on May 17, 1923, and she moved to Queens where she lived for over 20 years. She will be remembered for her love of crafts, especially crocheting, knitting, and in her later years, quilting. Since 2000, Marilyn was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, in Colonie, NY.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Greg) Bordinger, and Joan (Keith) Landahl, her brother, John (Florence) Heilig, her four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and close friend, Virginia Stoddard.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 10:00am-11:00am. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am.
